Help us to preserve and protect the heritage of the most intact World War II fighter airfield in Britain.
We are keen to hear from anyone with enthusiasm about the project and we’ll appreciate any skills and experience that you could bring to the team. In particular, we are looking for people who can help us in the following areas:
- Archiving & Digitisation
- Oral History
- Events and Tours
We expect that most volunteers would eventually want to work across multiple fields. That’s not a problem and is even encouraged! Please send us an email email@example.com to let us know which of these areas you are interested in so we can match you up with available opportunities.
Breaking barriers to Volunteering
We want everyone to be able to volunteer for the project if they wish, and are committed to ensuring that financial, health, disability or learning needs are not a barrier to helping deliver this project. We encourage our volunteers to discuss their needs with us as part of their induction process to ensure all volunteers are able to volunteer, and feel safe and happy doing so.
