- Primary school visits – Please contact us if you would like a 45 minute guided tour of the airfield. Many schools like to also combine a handling workshop to reinforce their learning aims and create a fun-filled morning/afternoon at the airfield.
- Secondary school visits – We can arrange KS3/4 guided tours that align to the national curriculum as well as accompanying handling workshops on-site.
- Self-guided tours – You are welcome to visit the airfield unaccompanied as the site has full public access. We are in the process of developing self-guided maps for primary/secondary schools and families to the site.Within our 3 year project, we have an extensive outreach programme consisting of off-site WWII and nature workshops, travelling exhibitions, CPD opportunities, loan boxes and art projects. We are hosting a Learning Festival in the Summer term 2017. This will be hosted on the airfield and will have full facilities, guided tours, on-site workshops, art projects, quiz trails, STEM sessions and many other events.
